International Mediation Advocacy Training
Certified Mediation Counsel
The International Mediation Advocacy Training (IMAT) is curated and hosted by our research, education and training wing – Global Academy for Advocacy in Dispute Resolution (GAADR). Regularly hosted in Mumbai, Goa, New Delhi and Bangalore, GAADR has so far trained and certified 200+ Indian lawyers with mediation skills, and prepared them to represent clients in a mediation.
Our aim is to continue to recognise and celebrate the role of a counsel in a mediation session. We are committed to offering a world class learning experience, where the trainers are practitioners who walk the talk and draw on their practical experiences as Mediation Counsel and Mediators. Working with intimate cohorts, the trainers craft relatable simulations, illustrate relevant concepts and demonstrate international best practices in Mediation Advocacy.
The 25-hour (10 hours online + 15 hours / 2 Days offline) module also tackles the business of building and sustaining a practice as a mediation counsel, besides addressing the Indian Mediation Act, Singapore Convention and other protocols.
